{April 2019} A New Perspective

Hey Rock stars!

Wow where did March go, am I right?

Hanging out in terminal A17, reflecting on my internship in California. Surviving on two hours of sleep and somehow still being productive, looking back on how much I learned in just 30 days. What did I take away from this experience? That is a complex question. I guess my biggest take away would be to keep going. I spent a month with one of the greatest mural artists in the world and it became apparent to me that his success was not built on some inhuman super power that he was “just born with.” John’s success is built on observation, repetition, and patience with learning his trade. I definitely have the repetition down but I could most certainly improve my observation.

I am currently in Austin, Texas wrapping up a few projects and then heading to Tennessee. I have a few ideas for my next mural, but I won’t spoil the surprise.
