{March 2019} How to Trick Your Brain into Believing in Yourself

March 2019

Hey everyone!

I just arrived in Truckee, California for my next internship with John Pugh and can I just say, the Sierra Mountains are BEAUTIFUL! There is lots of snow here and Truckee is a friendly little place. I have my own loft in John’s studio, which is very cozy and reminds me a lot of the van. There is a little chipmunk that comes down to visit from time to time.  So while I was at the airport I continued my reading of Napoleon Hill’s book, “Think and Grow Rich” and I’ll continue to share with you what parts of the book resonate with me. The few chapters I read on the way here talk about faith.

What is faith? Faith is the only known antidote for failure. Let me explain. All achievement must begin with a desire for something definite. When faith is blended with the vibration of thought, the sub conscious mind picks up the vibration and it translates into something physical. The emotions of faith, love, and sex are the strongest of the positive emotions and when you combine all three, they have the effect of coloring the vibration of thought.

How to develop faith

Faith is a state of mind which can be induced or created by affirmation or repeated instruction to the sub conscious mind. You can actually convince yourself that you will receive that for which you ask. Faith is a state of mind that you may develop at will. Repetition of orders to your sub conscious mind is THE ONLY KNOWN METHOD of voluntary development of the emotion of faith. All thoughts, which have been emotionalized and mixed with faith immediately, begin to translate themselves to their physical equivalent.

There are many people who believe they are doomed to poverty and failure because of some strange force over which they have no control. You MUST conduct yourself as if you are already in possession of what you desire. Your greatest weakness is lack of self-confidence. Here is a formula for increasing your self-confidence.

1.     I know I have the ability to achieve the object of my definite purpose in life, therefore I demand of myself continuous action towards its obtainment

2.     I realize the dominating thoughts in my mind will reproduce themselves into actions and manifest into physical reality. I will therefore focus my thoughts on the person I intend to become.

3.     Any desire I consistently hold in my mind will eventually seek expression.

4.     I have written down my aim in life and I will never stop trying until I develop enough self-confidence for its obtainment.

5.     I understand that no wealth can endure unless built upon truth and justice and will not engage in any transaction that does not benefit all involved.

I have a few daily affirmations that I say repeat often. Some for love and some for prosperity and financial gain, but this one is my favorite:

I will succeed by attracting myself to the forces I wish to use and the cooperation of other people. I will eliminate hatred, envy, jealousy, selfishness, and cynicism by developing love for all humanity. A negative attitude toward others will never bring me success. Others will believe in me because I believe in them and in myself.

I say this every morning when I wake up and every night before bed. I encourage you to write your own affirmations and start feeding the vibrations of your thoughts with FAITH.

Thank you all for your support

I am always available to talk if you are feeling like your dream is out of reach

Best Wishes,
